LAHORE - Former captain and ICL's man in Pakistan, Moin Khan has admitted that the global economic meltdown has forced the cash-strapped league to consider about off loading its players.
"Like everyone else, the ICL is also facing some financial issues and now there is a suggestion to have just one tournament every year instead of several.
That is why they are considering terminating existing contracts but no final decision has been made on this as yet," Moin said here.
ICL-bound Pakistan all-rounder, Abdul Razzaq has already announced that the rebel league has terminated his contract and after clearing his dues, it would issue him a 'No Objection Certificate' which would allow him to play for any another league or the national team once again.
However, he made it clear that the ICL organisers are yet to come to a final decision on the matter.
