South Asian Youth, Junior Athletics postponed

LAHORE - The South Asian Youth and Junior Athletics Championship scheduled to be held in India has been postponed due to Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.

Secretary Pakistan Athletics Federation Khalid Mehmood said that the championship, to be held in an Indian city Pune, but it has been decided on the request by the Muslim countries, participating in the championship, that the event would not be organized month.

Now the championship will be held in December.

The announcement of new dates and venues will be made during the third Commonwealth Games, to be held in Pune in October.
