Sialkot carve out fine win over Faisalabad

KARACHI - Sialkot batted cautiously and responsibly to carve out a fine four wickets win over Faisalabad in low scoring match of PCB/Mobilink under16 cricket here Thursday at National stadium.
The winners faced a low winning target of 154 set by their opponents but instead of rushing to the target they preferred a cautious approach and reached their target in 44th over.
Opener Imtinan ul Haq played a major role in Sialkot victory when playing responsibly scored 44 in 72 balls hitting five fours.
Muqaddar Saleem was the second best scorer with 30 and Fayyaz Butt remained not out 26.
Earlier Faisalabad taking the strike first managed only 153 runs in 42.1 overs.Their batsmen faced difficulty in scoring against medium pacers Fayyaz Butt who took three wickets and Awais Munir who got two wickets. Later spinner Faisal Islam grabbed two wickets.Fayaz Butt hastened the end of Faisalabad innings taking two quick wickets at the fag end of the innings.
