Bahawalpur win Inter-varsity Rugby Championship

LAHORE Islamic University Bahawalpur won Inter-varsity Rugby Championship by defeating University of Central Punjab (UCP) in the final round which was played on Wednesday here at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) ground, spokesman of the UVAS said.
Ten championship was supervised by the HEC and organised by the UVAS.
Islamic University Bahawalpur defeated University of Central Punjab (UCP) and according to the results, UCP remained on the second number and UVAS got the third position by defeating Lahore University.
The teams participated in the championship are: Agriculture University Faisalabad, University of Central Punjab, University of The Punjab, Superior University Lahore, Government College University Lahore, LUMS, Lahore University, UMT, Islamic University Bahawalpur and University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.
The chief guest congratulated the winners and also felicitated UVAS sports chairman Prof Dr Sarwar Khan and director sports Rana Amjad Iqbal for organising the event successfully.
