New PCB chief keeping an eye on Lawson

LAHORE - The newly appointed chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ejaz Butt is keeping a close eye on the performance of Geoff Lawson as coach of the team.

Talking to a private channel, Ejaz said that he would be forming a committee to review the performance of Lawson. 'I have not seen any good results given by the team under his coaching and we would be watching what is required of him," said Butt.

In another statement he showed his keenness to strengthen his board's ties with the Indian cricket board.
