Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER August 12, 2008 ISLAMABAD - The ICC Champions Trophy task force delegation is satisfied over the security measures for the prestigious event, said Chief Executive of International Cricket Council (ICC) Haroon Lorgat on Monday here.
While talking to reporters after meeting with the top officials of the Ministry of Interior, he said that the Champion Trophy would be hosted by Pakistan. "The ICC had observed the security plan practically during the Asia Cup cricket tournament that were held in May and July this year 2008 at the two major cities Lahore and Karachi. They could calculate the security measures at Pindi and ICC does not want to put any foreign player or official in dilemma," he added.
