Greek papers find fault with Rehhagel's 'mingy' strategy
June 12, 2008 ATHENS (AFP) - The Greek press on Wednesday blamed titleholders Greece's 2-0 defeat by Sweden in their Euro 2008 opening match on "mingy" tactics employed by coach Otto Rehhagel.
A national hero for overseeing Greece's capture of the championship four years ago in Portugal, Rehhagel came under fire for an overly defensive strategy against the Swedes on Tuesday night.
