DHAKA - The Commercial Counsellor of the Pakistan High Commission to Dhaka Rubina Taufeeq Shah has expressed her inability to join Pakistan cricket team in the Bangladesh capital for the tri-nation series.

She said, as the PCB did not want the Commission to be on their side in case there is any need. "We wrote to the PCB twice but they did not give any intimation of the team's schedule of arrival and stay in Dhaka," she added. Rao Liaqat, press attache of the Pakistan HC, said that if the PCB had intimated them of the team's schedule they would have arranged for a reception for the team. "We were even not provided with the tri-series passes when we wanted to host the team and watch them play here," he added.
