Kitply Cup unveiled

DHAKA - The Kitply Cup was unveiled Friday evening at the team hotel in the presence of the chairman of BCB President Maj Gen Sina Ibn Jamali, PCB chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf and the sponsors.
The trophy was unveiled in front of the three participating teams - Bangladesh, Pakistan and India.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamali particularly thanked the participating teams Pakistan and India for their support in the development of the game in Bangladesh. He also praised the commitment and professionalism of the players. He lauded the role of the sponsors, who he said had always supported the game and without their patronage the Bangladesh cricket would not have flourished.
PCB chairman also thanked the host board for organising such a magnificent event and promised to extend full support his board can for the development of cricket in Bangladesh.
He advised the teams to show resilience and commitment to the game. "Let cricket be the winner with commitment," he said.
The sponsors on their part pledged to maintain their support to the game and Bangladesh cricket.
After the unveiling, both the team captains, Shoaib Malik (Pakistan) and Mahindra Singh Dhoni (India) had a photo session with the trophy while the other team members watched the proceedings.
