Premier League 2008: Big guns HBL crash to defeat against KRL

LAHORE - HBL have left no stone unturned to break the jinx but every effort to beat KRL has failed at Peoples Stadium, Karachi. The bankers, who never defeated KRL in event's history since 2004, tasted their 8th  defeat against the Rawalpindi outfit as they failed to match brilliance of former Pakistani skipper Muhammad Essa who fired goal in each session.

Chaman-born Essa gave KRL well-deserved lead in the 41st minute. He controlled Zia Us Salam's  through pass to slice the ball past advancing international keeper Aqeel Ahmed. KRL led 1-0 at interval.
