ICC delegation arrives for final inspection

LAHORE - Delegation of International Cricket Council (ICC), comprising of seven members, has arrived here on early Monday to finalize the security arrangement issue for Champions Trophy.

ICC representative Chris Tetley said that our visit would analyze the security measures for ICC Champions Trophy for the final time that would get underway from September 12.

Dropping the Rawalpindi venue for the matches due to security reasons, has made our work more difficult as Karachi and Lahore will have to hosts all 15 matches of the trophy, he added.

"We are backed with pitch experts who would examine the conditions of the pitches here, as more pitches would have to be formed now," he maintained.

He said that we would hold meetings with PCB officials and sponsors for resolving sponsorship issues.
