Customs to revive sports teams soon
LAHORE Customs will soon revive its sports teams for the promotion of sports like hockey so that players can concentrate on their game properly.
This was stated by Chief Collector Customs North Umar Farooq during his visit to the Tauqir Dar Hockey Academy. Tauqir Dar was also present on the occasion.
Different suggestions are being reviewed in central board of revenue that the hockey team of Customs be revived to give back up to the national sport, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, collector Najeeb Abbasi said that their department wants to play a vital role in the development of hockey.
He added that Tauqir Dar Academy is the only academy whose players are representing the country in the national team.
