Lahore region beat Pindi women
LAHORE Lahore region beat Rawalpindi by seven wickets in the 5th National Women Cricket Championship here at the LCCA Ground on Friday.
Put into bat, Rawalpindi made 187 runs. Badar-ur-Nisa 51, Saira Batool 38 and Amna Malik 35 were the main Rawalpindi players. Sabahat Rashid and Mehwish Tariq shared three wickets each while Aliha Raza had two and Hina and Elizabeth shared one each.
In reply, Lahore achieved 189 runs for three wickets in 26 overs. Ayesha Qazi 63, Komel Feroz 69 and Mehwish 14 not out made the win easy for Lahore. Nazia, Sahib Khatoon and Sumaira shared one wicket each.
