Dr. Nasim Ashraf pays farewell visit to NSK
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER August 22, 2008 KARACHI - Outgoing chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Dr. Nasim Ashraf, who resigned from his office four days ago, visited the National Stadium here on Thursday and remained there for over an hour.
During his stay, the outgoing chairman met the staff of the PCB at the National Stadium. He met each member of the staff and shook hands with them.
Dr. Ashraf who flew in here to meet the National Stadium staff later left for the national capital.
Since taking over the reins of the PCB from Shaharyar M Khan who left the cricket board unceremoniously after the Oval Test debacle, Ashraf was sought by the media. He addressed a number of news conferences at the stadium. The last media briefing of the former PCB boss was during the recently-held Asia Cup which Sri Lanka won in style with the spin magic of Ajantha Mendis.
