150 players to feature in National Tenpin Bowling

ISLAMABAD - Over 150 players will take part in the first Banazir Bhutto Saheed National Tenpin Bowling Championship which will kick off from July 25 here at F-9 Park Bowling Club.
President Islamabad Bowling Association (IBA), Ejaz-ur-Rehman told reporters here in a press conference that the competitions would be held in five different categories including singles, doubles, inter-city, journalists and deaf's during the 3-day national bowling championship.
Cash awards, trophies and certificates will be distributed amongst the winners and runner-ups, he added.
Ejaz said that the arrangements had been completed. "Women's competitions are also the part of this championship, as PBF wants to promote this game at lower level. The youth are taking their full interest in this indoor game," he observed.
Also, President Peoples Youth Organisation Islamabad, Agha Muhammad Ali Shah, was present on this occasion and vowed to support IBA to hold this event. "The National Championship is being dedicated to the leading political personality of the country Shaheed Mohtrama Benazir Bhutto, who was assassinated at Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi during the election campaign on November 27, 2007," Agha Muhammad Ali said on this eve.
