Adil hammers hat-trick in Faisalabad victory

LAHORE - Seven matches were decided in the PFF U-16 Football Youth Cup at various centres on Monday
night with Faisalabad White's Ali Adil becoming first hat-trick maker.
Lahore Red were off to a spectacular start, beating Lahore Green 5-0 at PEL's Football Ground PEL Ground,
near Kainchi, Ferozpur Road. The winners led 2-0 at interval with goals from Kashif (11th min) and Omar (25th
min).
Red also held upper-hand and managed to hit further goals through Ardab Basit (76th min, Ahmed Saeed (77th
min) while Nauman Ali completed the rout in the final minute.
Spearhead Ali Adil was star performer with hat-trick as Muhammad Habib's Faisalabad White thrashed
Faisalabad Green 7-0. Four-goal Adil hit the target in the 6th, 15th, 32nd and 58th minute as White led 4-0 at
breather. Other goal getters at University of Agriculture Ground, Faisalabad were Imran 42nd min, Zulfiqar 49th
min and Zaman 75th min.
Two matches at Peshawar produced eight goals. Peshawar Red outplayed Peshawar Yellow 6-0 at Civil
Quarter Ground while Qayyum Stadium clash between Peshawar White and Bannu ended 1-1.
Striker Mohsin, midfielder Usman and winger Obaid ullah earned brace in Red's 6-0 win. Mohsin slammed the
ball twice in the 15th and 63rd minute while Usman (20th, 38th) and Obaid (35th, 48th) did the trick for Najib
Ullah Najmi's team. Zohaib gave Peshawar White lead through 35th minute strike but Arsalan restored parity for
Bannu in the 83rd minute.
