Karachi Blues beat Rawalpindi in one-day Inter-region U-19 cricket

KARACHI - Shahbaz Hasan's half-century was the highlight in Karachi Blues easy 12 runs win over Rawalpindi in the one day limited overs match of the PCB Inter Region Under-19 cricket here at Asghar Ali Shah stadium on Wednesday.

Shahbaz Hasan smashed 58 as the home team taking the strike first posted 235 for seven in allotted 50 overs and later restricted Rawalpindi to 223 for six in the same number of overs.

In another match of the competition played at Niaz stadium Hyderabad, host Hyderabad beat Faislabad by 92 runs.

Hyderabad scored 269-5 in 50 overs and Faisalabad replied with 177 all our in 40.5 overs.

Lahore Shalimar suffered four wickets defeat at the hand of host Quetta at Bugti stadium Quetta.

Lahore Shalimar made 182 in 50 overs and Quetta replied with 184 for six in 44.2 overs.
