Academy cricketrers punished severely for night out

NAIROBI - The team management of the touring Pakistan Cricket Academy team came heavily on pacer Anwer Ali and batsman Ahmed Shahzad for flouting discipline and fined them heavily and placed one to two matches ban on them.
In a decisison taken here late Saturday after probing into the allegations that the two players had broken the curfew hours and visited a nightclub in down town Nairobi on Friday night,the team manager Haroon Rasdhid informed the Pakistani media that Anwer Ali had been fined US $ 200 as it was his first instance of discipline and banned for one match. Ahmed Shahzad was fined US $ 400 and banned for two matches.
Both the players had been ruled out of the third one dayer that PAC would play against host Kenya here on Sunday. Haroon Rashid had alredy told the Pakistani media on Friday after he was informed that the two players were seen at a Florida night dance hall very late on Friday, that the players would be given punishment according to rules if found breaching discipline.
The Pakistani media had seen two players at the dance club with a local man and a girl.Initially the players denied visiting the night club but the queries made by the team management revealed that the players had left the hotel after curfew hours.
