ISLAMABAD - The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has made changes in criteria of importing vehicles (recondition cars) from other countries, which would increase the prices of cars from Rs 50,000 to Rs 2,50,000. Meanwhile only four years used cars could be imported in the country now instead of five years.The prices of imported cars (recondition) would increase with the change in customs rules. Price of imported recondition 660 CC car would increase by some Rs 50,000. price of 1000 CC recondition car would increase by Rs 75,000 and 1300 CC car price would go up by Rs 1,40,000 and price of 1500 CC cars would enhance by Rs 1,50,000. Similarly, price of 1800CC imported recondition car would increase by Rs 2,50,000.
