LAHORE – The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry has demanded of the Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Ali Arshad Hakeem to extend deadline for filing income tax returns up to November 15th.

In a statement, the LCCI President Farooq Iftikhar said that the FBR was already facing multiple challenges for meeting its revenue target due to law and order situation in parts of country and worsening electricity situation therefore, an extension in date for filing of income tax returns would facilitate tax payers to file their returns.
