500,000 metric tons of wheat procured in Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR : More than 500,000 metric tons of wheat has been procured in the division which is 74pc of the 652,000 metric ton set target. Deputy Director Food of the Division Rao M Toheed told APP that more than 5.23m gunny bags have been provided while 2.16m gunny bags are in stock. He told that 176,491 metric ton wheat has been procured in Bahawalpur district, 160,632 metric ton in Bahawalnagar district and 144,000 metric ton in RYK.
