KARACHI – The much awaited Prometheus finally made its screen debut at Karachi Atrium Cinemas. The 3D movie which is a sci-fi thriller directed by Ridley Scott attracted many known faces from the entertainment industry of Pakistan at its red carpet premiere, where the guests were enthralled by the movie’s special effects and story-line, says a press release. The voyage in 20th Century Fox Internationals’ Prometheus 3D movie has Hollywood stalwarts like Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace and Guy Pearce amongst others. Prometheus is set in late 21st century where the spaceship Prometheus’s crew follows a star map discovered in the remnants of an ancient civilization, to find answers about the origin of humanity.

Surprisingly, the crew discovers a threat which could end the human race forever. Ridley Scott, who is an extraordinary director, takes suspense to new depths in the movie and has to his credit many famous movies including Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down and many others.
