The Petroleum Minister Dr. Asim Hussain says that there is no shortage of petrol and diesel but a particular group wants to create difficulties for the people. In an interview he said that he has asked the Sui Northern Gas and PSO to suspend the supply of CNG and Petrol to those who are creating hurdles in the supplies. To a question about the strike of CNG pumps he said in Balochistan‚ Sindh‚ and Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa this problem has been addressed following the meetings. But he said that a special group in Punjab wants to black mail the government and avoid tax which has not been applied yet. Dr. Asim said that the government respects the CNG dealers and want to give them the alternate energy resources but their attitude is wrong. He said that diesel oil is expensive in India as compared to Pakistan.
