Mr. Yaseen Anwer, Governor State Bank of Pakistan called on PrimeMinister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani here Wednesday and briefed him on the currenteconomic situation in the country. He also apprised the Prime Minister about efforts of the State Bank to contain inflation and propel the national economy to increase economic growth and employment generation. The Prime Minister directed Governor State Bank to give priority to provide relief to common man and strengthen the fundamentals of national economy.
