Petrol prices likely to go down by Rs 10 per litre

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has suggested to decrease the prices of petroleum products by Rs10 and has sent the summary to the ministry Thursday.

The authorities of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources said that prices of petroleum products are less than $ 95 per barrel in international market, while in Pakistan prices of petroleum products are being charged by $ 120 per barrel.
The OGRA has recommended to the government to decrease the price of petroleum products by Rs10.46.
The summary has also suggested reducing the price of diesel by Rs6.08, kerosene oil 5.26, HOBC Rs11.75 and light diesel by Rs5.02 per litre.
It is worth mentioning here that the government would announce the new price of petroleum products by tomorrow (Friday).
