LAHORE - A group of 33 businessmen representing 21 companies participated in South African International Trade Exhibition (SAITEX) and Africa Big Seven held from 15th to 17th of July, says a Press release.
High Commission of Pakistan hosted lunch in honour of the delegation. The reception was attended exhibitors, officers of the High Commission of Pakistan, and distinguished businessmen from relevant sectors. Deputy High Commissioner, Abdul Jabbar Memon emphasized the importance of exporters in earning foreign exchange for Pakistan.
DHC underscored that South Africa is a potential market which has lot of opportunities for Pakistani goods and Pakistani exporters with their quality products can also use it as a spring board for the African Continent. The High Commissioner assured the delegates that High Commission will leave no stone unturned in assisting Pakistani businessmen/exhibitors, trade delegations under TDAP or even in their private capacity. He also informed that High Commission of Pakistan is planning to propose establishment of warehousing facility in South Africa to show case Pakistani products in the near future.
