Teledensity showing remarkable 6.7pc growth

ISLAMABAD - The teledensity in the country has reached 68.3 percent mark during last eight months, showing 6.7pc growth as compared to previous year. Since mobile sector contributes over 95pc to total teledensity of the country, an increase in mobile penetration from 60.4pc in 2010-11 to 64.9pc this year so far, resulted in improvement of 4.3 percentage points in total teledensity.
