Exemption from loadshedding demanded

LAHO RE (APP) FPCCI, an apex body of chambers in the country, Thursday demanded total exemption from power and gas loadshedding to help strengthen the bleak national economy besides saving the industrial and agricultural sectors from irreparable loss. President FPCCI Senator Haji Ghulam Ali,VP SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Iftikhar A li Malik and LCCI President Shahzad Ali Malik in a joint statement demanded that government, in larger national interest, ought to accord top priority to industrial and agricultural sectors. They said it would be helpful for hundred percent power and gas supply without any interruption throughout the year to meet the economic growth and export targets besides bumper crops. They said that world over, all developed and modern countries always, in case of short of gas and power, attached great importance to industrial and agricultural sector than domestic consumers.
