Farmers asked to be vigilant against weeds


LAHORE   - The Punjab Agriculture Department has urged the farmers to be vigilant against parthenium, which is now attacking crops. A spokesman for the department said on Sunday that parthenium was one of the worst weeds, which was fast growing in the world. He said it grew in rainy seasons and was affecting fields in central Punjab.
