LAHORE – Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital has introduced the annual Social Responsibility Awards. In this connection, the second Shaukat Khanum Social Responsibility awards giving ceremony was organized  on Monday, says a press release..
Imran Khan, chairman board of governors, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust, while addressing the audience, he spoke about the problems and difficulties he faced during the construction of this hospital 17 years back. 
He said I believe that if you give your 100pc and work hard, God helps you in whatever you do with positive intention. He said that keeping in view the needs of cancer patients and increase in their numbers, Shaukat Khanum Trust is going to construct cancer hospitals in Peshawar and Karachi so that people of those areas could avail the treatment facilities at their door step.
In the end he also distributed the Social Responsibility Awards among the sponsoring organizations.
