ISLAMABAD : The exports of fish and meat increased by 10.62 per cent and 16 per cent during the 10 months of the current fiscal year as compared to the same period of last year. Exports of fish and fish preparations during July-April (2011-12) were recorded at $ 259.342 million against $ 234.448 million during July-April (2010-11), according to the data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. The seafood exports, however, witnessed decrease in terms of quantity by from 103,800 metric tons last year to 101,601 metric tons this year.
