SC summons all record in RPPs case

The Supreme Court on Tuesday summoned all the inquiry files for the Rental Power Plants (RPPs) case and adjourned the hearing till Oct 01.

A three-member bench of the SC, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Tuesday heard the case.
The chief justice remarked that Raja Pervez Ashraf had admitted that the four projects were not tendered, and added that he asked that why action was not taken against it.
The apex court summoned the records of each individual and subsequently adjourned the hearing till Oct 1.
