Passengers were hit worst of prolonged delay in trains services due to shortage of diesel and engines on Thursday.

Besides prolonged wait, the passengers have to face problems due to intense cold weather, absence of basic facilities rough attitude of information officials who lashed at passengers when they inquired about schedule of arrivals and departures of trains.
Quetta-Rawalpindi, Jaffar Express arrived with eight hours delay while Karachi-Multan Zakariya Express was late for seven hours.
Pakistan Express from Karachi to Rawalpindi was three hours late while Tezgam from Karachi to Rawalpindi and Awam Express from Peshawar to Karachi were two hours late.
Meanwhile, other trains moving up and down country also reached their destinations with five to 10 hours delay.
The annoyed passengers have denounced the Pakistan Railways for failure to normalize the operation and demanded the railways minister to quit.
