OUR STAFF REPORTER ISLAMABAD - Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources (MoP&NR) after getting approval from Prime Minister regarding the appointment of five Managing Directors (MDs) of oil and gas companies has issued notifications of MDs so far. According to the officials of Petroleum Ministry these appointments have been done after the approval of Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani. They told that Petroleum Ministry has issued notifications of Azeem Iqbal Siddiqi as MD Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL), Arif Hameed as MD Sui Nortern Gas Company Limited (SNGPL), Raja Irfan Nasar as MD Government Holding, Asim Murtaza as MD Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and Tariq Razavi as MD PARCO. They further informed that for the posts of MDs of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Inter State Gas Company and Pakistan State Oil (PSO), another advertisement would be publicised soon. It is relevant to mention that on 19th September, a committee under the chair Dr Asim Hussain Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources conducted interviews from the candidates.
