Continued dialogues to help foster Pak-India ties

ISLAMABAD - SAARC CCI President Shri Vikramjit Singh Sahney has appreciated round talks at secretary-level between Interior Ministries of India and Pakistan that concluded in Islamabad on Sunday, stating that continued dialogue will help resolve important issues, which will positively affect economic cooperation between two neighbouring countries as well entire South Asian region, says a press release.

While appreciating talks which concluded with the adoption of 23 point agenda, President SAARC CCI admired that both governments have demonstrated practical and earnest approach to discuss all issues in length including modalities for adoption of new visa regime on bilateral basis.
He hoped that both governments will soon announce much desired flexible visa policy, which recommends one-year multiple entry and multi-city visas for businessmen and provides relaxation for senior citizens and well as married persons living across the border.
Tariq Sayeed former President and Iftikhar Ali Malik Vice President, SAARC CCI while sharing the same feelings, urged both governments to exhibit greater will to bring two nations closer together. They were of the opinion that security issues should be dealt with improving monitoring system, which will positively affect the economic cooperation.
