Gold rises to Rs 55,550/tola

KARACHI – Gold improved by Rs 214 to close at Rs 47,614 per 10 grams in the local market Monday as its international price soared to $ 1,580 an ounce, market sources said.

According to Karachi Sarafa Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 250 to close at Rs 55,550. Silver closed unchanged at Rs 831.42 per 10 grams.
