OGRA suggests increase in petroleum prices by Rs 4.49-7.73

 Another Financial bomb awaits for ill-fated masses in the holy month of Ramazan as the Oil and Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Monday recommended increase in petroleum products by Rs4.49-7.73

According to the report, summary has been forwarded to the government in this regard. The OGRA said in the summary that prices would have to be increased if levy on petroleum products was not lifted.
OGRA has suggested increase of Rs 7.67 in petrol price, high octane Rs 7.73, light diesel Rs5.31 and high speed diesel respectively with effective from Aug 1. Similarly, prices of CNG will also increase by Rs 5.50 per kilogram in this regard.
