ISLAMABAD : The Banks and financial institutions have deducted over Rs 2 billion as Zakat from the accounts having credit balance of 51,086 or more, says an official of Ministry of Religious Affairs. Talking to APP he said, the details of the deducted amount are still being collected especially from far flung areas of the country. While the details from urban areas have almost been received.
