KATY Perry has designed 3D glasses to tie in with her concert movie Katy Perry: Part of Me.The singer designed the bespoke glasses in partnership with RealD and cinemagoers will receive them with their ticket on a first-come, first-served basis exclusively at Showcase Cinema venues across the UK.Vice president of marketing at RealD Kristina Warner said: “Katy Perry: Part of Me is a unique blend of intimate, life-defining moments and amazing musical performances by one of the world’s most recognisable artists.“Bringing fans a look inside the world of Katy Perry will be a memorable experience for all, made all the more lasting with a pair of exclusive limited edition glasses as a keepsake.”Perry has admitted to finding it “uncomfortable” to watch her split from husband Russell Brand when reviewing movie footage in the edit suite.Director Dan Cutforth has said that “there was never really any discussion of taking out the scenes that are a bit more emotional” from the film. –DS
