Sacha Baron to spoof Bond in comedy spy film

SACHA Baron Cohen is set to poke fun at James Bond movies in a new comedy based on a spy who goes on the run.

The Dictator star and screenwriter Phil Johnston have sold the untitled pitch to Paramount Pictures, according to Variety.
The film will revolve around a ‘James Bond-like spy’ who goes on the run with long-lost brother described as ‘a moronic soccer hooligan’.
As Baron Cohen has starred in every movie that he’s written, the funnyman is likely to play the dumb sibling.
He is currently working on the script with Johnston, who pennied indie comedy Cedar Rapids.
Baron Cohen recently delayed filming of Tom Hooper’s Les Misérables film adaptation after losing his voice.
The comedian, who plays Monsieur Thénardie, was forced to take some time out after overworking his vocal cords on set.
The King’s Speech director Hooper has insisted every song in the musical has to be sung live which has taken a toll on Cohen’s voice.                       –Metro
