ONE Direction's Liam Payne has been injured by fans during a scrum at Heathrow Airport.

The band are back in the UK to perform on tonight's X Factor final, and arrived from New York the other day.
The Daily Mail reports that Payne tweeted a picture of a 'Chinese burn' during the melee that ensued when fans met the band at the airport. He wrote: 'The awkward moment when a girl gives you a Chinese burn in the airport", then added jokingly: "My scratch is that bad I think I might just have to cut my arm off." According to photographers present at the scene, the band's security team struggled to cope with fans who packed out the car park.
Payne said of the experience: "That was actually horrible I literally wanted to cry and all those people shouting at us and we even tried to stop us." The 19-year-old recently launched his own YouTube channel, which has gained over 200,000 subscribers despite Payne not having posted any videos to date.–DS
