Man crashes Ferrari dodging hedgehog

A DRIVER smashed up his £85,000 Ferrari after swerving to avoid a hedgehog.

Businessman Joerg Daecher, 53, had been travelling home from work when he saw the creature. But rather than hit the animal, he swerved his Ferrari Testarossa and crashed into a barrier.  Joerg told cops the car had spun out of control after he steered out of the way, slipping on leaves on the road as he passed through a wooded area. Thanks to his efforts the hedgehog escaped unhurt - but the car fared less well on the B64 at Eschershausen in Lower Saxony, Germany.     –The Sun
Officials have estimated that repairs to the motor could cost as much as £30,000.
