BRAVE Charlize Theron has prepared for the much-anticipated new Mad Max movie by shaving her head.

The Oscar-winner kept her new shorn locks undercover during a trip to a yoga class. The new look is to portray Furiosa in Mad Max 4: Fury Road, which is set to start shooting this summer after a two-year delay. She and Tom Hardy, 34, were first attached to the film in 2009 but it was postponed after a number of production setbacks.
Charlize said recently: “It’s been three years. It’s time to skin this cat already!” The actress added: “The original Mad Max created such a vivid world, so to go back and re-imagine it and re-play in that sandbox sounds like fun to me. It’s a really challenging piece of material... I feel very lucky.”                             –TS
