Enzo is a tiger, who really is a pet and lives inside the house with family.

Just like the stripey hero of the kids’ story, big cat Enzo has made himself right at home in a family’s house. He lives as a normal pet, snuggling up on the bed and sprawling asleep on the sofa.
The 27st kitty shares the place with owners Michael Jamison and Jackie Smit and 14 dogs in Brakpan, South Africa. The couple bought him as a nine-week-old cub a year ago and he has grown massive on 11lb of meat a day.
Michael, 37, said: “He is happy living with us — but we have to remember he is still a tiger.”
The book by Judith Kerr about a tiger, who visits a little girl and eats all the food in her house, has been made into a stage show.                                              –TS
