A GR OUP of keen cooks in China have set a new Guinness World Record for making the longest handmade noodle . The 1,704-metre-long stretch took 25 minutes to make and was showed off during a noodle-making activity at a square in the county of Dali Bai, in Southwest Chinas Yunnan province. A total of 15kg of flour and 2.5kg of oil were used in the creation of the noodle. The production took place under the supervision of a chef, surnamed Su, and thousands of participants dressed in traditional outfits, got their hands dirty to beat the record.Metro
