India sets free Pakistani scientist Doctor Khalil Chishti after the country’s Supreme Court granted him bail. Chishti’s daughter Shua Chishti said she is overjoyed over the report regarding release of her father and expects that her father will soon be among the family members in Pakistan. Pleading the Indian government to allow her father to come to Pakistan, Shua said her father’s release is for the most part a result of her mother’s prayers. According to the media reports, President Asif Ali Zardari talked to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for the release of Dr. Chishti during his visit to India.
