Pak, France to boost bilateral cooperation in economic, defence sectors

President Asif Ali Zardari and his French counterpart Francois Hollande discussed bilateral ties and international issues of mutual concern in Paris on Tuesday and agreed to further boost bilateral cooperation in economic and defence sectors.

Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar and Federal Minister Sheikh Waqas Akram were also present during the meeting.
The two Presidents exchanged views on further enhancing bilateral cooperation in energyé tradeé economic and other sectors. They also discussed security situation in the region with particular reference to Afghanistan.
