A US -led coalition soldier was killed in a bomb blast in Afghanistan Friday, the force said, taking to 41 the number of international soldiers killed in a series of incidents this month. The coalition, which comprises mostly US soldiers, gave few details and did not release the nationality of its latest casualty. "A coalition service member was killed during an IED (improvised explosive device) incident today in eastern Afghanistan," it said in a statement.
