WASHINGTON - The White House is preparing to give more ground to Senate Republicans and hand over documents related to the Benghazi attacks to try to secure the confirmation of John Brennan as the CIA director, according to a Congressional aide After releasing official timelines, an investigation and sending Cabinet officials up to Capitol Hill for hearings, now the Obama administration has agreed to surrender email messages between top national security officials that discuss how to describe the Sept 11 attack, the aide said. Republicans had demanded the documents as a condition of voting on the nomination of Brennan.
