Five persons were killed while 31 others wounded in a road accident on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban, Jammu & Kashmir district. Reports reached to Agence India Press that, the accident occurred when a passenger bus on its way from Jammu to Srinagar rolled down into a 300 feet deep gorge at Nashari near Batote. Four persons were killed on the spot while other succumbed to injuries on way to hospital.
